ECOGLASS, a.s. is a Czech glass manufacturing company that produces molded glass optical components for illumination applications. The company is well recognized on the market as a significant European glass producer. Our wide portfolio of technical products for lighting includes custom design products as well as our standard optics.
ECOGLASS, a.s. was established in 1991 by three partners. The company originally started as a research and development company that was designing a more ecological composition of glass batches for glass manufacturers in the Czech Republic and abroad. Very soon it became a manufacturing company that designed and built machines for precision molding. Company history with important milestones can be found here.
ECOGLASS provides comprehensive services under one roof starting with optical design and production of prototypes, followed by photometric evaluation of the parts and serial deliveries to its customers. Production process is backed by in-house developed technologies and patented process of glass molding.
Czech glass is used as raw material for the majority of products.
Further activities consist of production of glass giftware and decorative items as well as glass technology consulting for development of glass color and composition, glass color evaluation and glass properties prediction by using its own software KMEN.
ECOGLASS is equipped with a modern technical background both for glass development and production including broad experience in complex projects for its customers.
Development and production of technical glass products has been ISO certified since 1999.
